FAQs

What worship styles can you work with?

Jim is a well rounded worship arts leader with experience in traditional, blended, contemporary, seeker, charismatic and post-modern worship styles. He is most at home in a modern worship band setting, but he’s also a classically trained pianist…so bring it on!

What are your specialties?

With 25 years of full time ministry in a variety of churches and settings, Jim can advise on a wide range of issues. However, he enjoys consulting on organizational management of planning and team processes, along with developing healthy teams. If you want to start or restart a worship ministry from scratch , learn how to plan in advance, or develop systems that foster creative planning, Jim is your guy!

I don’t know if I need consulting, I just have an issue I need advice on.

Sure…reach out to Jim for that. He loves to talk shop and give his best thinking to whoever needs it. No charge.

How much does consulting cost?

It would be easy to include a pricing guide on this website, but Jim doesn’t want to turn anyone away that needs help. Therefore, we use a sliding scale based on church size, and a bit of grace, to make sure everyone can get the help they need. If price is an issue, don’t let it stop you from reaching out, we’ll make it work.

I think we could use ongoing worship department assistance.

If you feel you could use a staff level assistant, especially in the areas of scheduling, worship planning and media preparation, Jim has developed a unique, remote work solution called the Virtual Worship Arts Assistant. This is a great solution for churches who want to organize their worship planning. It is very cost effective and has been field tested successfully. Let us know your interest for more details.
